Cedar Point Jumbo Jet was a steel roller coaster located at Cedar Point amusement park in Sandusky, Ohio. It was designed by Anton Schwarzkopf and opened on May 23, 1972. At the time, it was the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world. The ride was 3,900 feet long and reached speeds of up to 72 mph. It featured several inversions, including two vertical loops, a corkscrew, a heartline roll, and a helix. Cedar Point Jumbo Jet operated until 1978, when it was dismantled and replaced by the Corkscrew roller coaster.
